Shop purchases (one-of-a-kind pieces)
Our pieces
Every item sold through our webshop is one-of-a-kind, made or reworked by hand from existing garments and materials before being listed. Because of this, no two pieces are identical.
Material condition & durability
Our pieces are made from secondhand and deadstock materials, which may carry wear, prior damage, or fragility from their earlier life that isn't always visible or fully known at the time of reworking. While we take care in selecting and preparing materials, we can't guarantee the long-term durability of every piece the way newly manufactured fabric might allow. Please treat your piece gently, and see our care instructions for how to help it last.
Ordering and confirmation
By completing your order and payment, you accept these terms and conditions. A confirmation receipt will be sent to you by email.
Prices and payment
All prices are listed in DKK and include Danish VAT. Your order is confirmed once payment is completed, and a receipt is sent by email.
Delivery
DAO, within Denmark. Please allow 1-4 business days for processing. Optional: pickup available in Aarhus by arrangement, free of charge.
Right of withdrawal
As these are ready-made items (not made to your specific request), you have the standard 14-day right to cancel your purchase from the date you receive it, under Danish consumer law.
To cancel: contact us at Skovfolk.studios@gmail.com
within 14 days of recieving your item. The item must not be worn or used — you may try it on, but should treat it as you would in a physical shop. If used beyond this, we may offer a partial refund only, depending on the item's resale condition.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item was faulty or misdescribed.
Right to complain (reklamationsret)
Separately from the above, Danish law gives you a 2-year right to complain about material or manufacturing defects (not ordinary wear or misuse). Contact us at Skovfolk.studios@gmail.com if this applies.
Care instructions
Please follow any care instructions provided with your piece. Not doing so may affect your right to complain about later damage.
Repairs
If a piece has a genuine defect and you'd like us to repair it, please don't attempt repairs yourself first — unauthorized alterations may affect your right to a resolution from us.
Custom upcycling service (your own garment)
What this service is
This service is for reworking a garment you already own — sent to us and reworked specifically according to your request. Because each piece is made to your individual specification, it cannot be resold to anyone else.
Material condition & durability
Since this service reworks a garment you already own, its condition — including any existing wear, prior damage, or fragility — is outside our control, and we can't guarantee how it will hold up long-term once reworked. Where we add new materials (thread, fabric, trims), we choose them with care, but the overall durability of the finished piece also depends on the original garment's condition. Please treat your piece gently, and see our care instructions for how to help it last.
Right of withdrawal
As this work is carried out specifically to your request and on your own garment, it is classified as a custom-made service under Danish law and is not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal. If you'd like to cancel before work has begun, please contact us as soon as possible — we'll do our best to accommodate this, though it may not always be possible once materials or time have already been committed.
Pricing
Projects are priced at 300 kr/hour plus materials, with an estimate provided before work begins.
If something's wrong with the work
If the finished piece has a genuine defect in workmanship, contact us at Skovfolk.studios@gmail.com and we'll find a fair solution.
