Skovfolk began with a simple question: what happens to the things we leave behind?
I transform existing garments and materials into one-of-a-kind pieces that carry both past and future within them. Each design is reworked from what already exists, giving forgotten textiles a new purpose and a new story to tell.
Inspired by forests, folklore, human nature, and the small details often overlooked, Skovfolk exists somewhere between clothing and storytelling. Every collection is part of an evolving narrative, where garments become characters, memories, and fragments of a larger world.
ABOUT
We leave things behind, we no longer feel connected to. past values, becomes dust for the wind.
by slowly revaluating, patterns start to come together, shaped and form into yet another exciting chapter.
MY STORY
Skovfolk grew from my graduate collection, The Forgotten, created during my Fashion Design PBA at VIA University College. Built entirely from reclaimed textiles, it marked the beginning of a creative universe shaped by curiosity, storytelling, and the beauty of what already exists.
My work is deeply intuitive. Rather than designing every detail in advance, I let each piece guide the process. One step at a time, the garment reveals itself through my hands.
Let your hands guide you. This is the philosophy behind everything I create.
Much of my inspiration comes from childhood memories of wandering through forests, climbing trees, and finding wonder in the ordinary. Alongside making garments, I draw imagined forest creatures and write poetry, exploring the connection between nature and the inner world.
Skovfolk is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with curiosity, and discover the stories hidden within forgotten textiles.
Skovfolk is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with the value already surrounding us.
Rooted in curiosity.
Curious what this looks like in practice?
